History:
The Dingmann Family has been serving central Minnesota since the early 1900’s when John Dingmann began providing funeral services in Clear Lake. John was joined by many of his family members including his sons F.E., Ralph, Al and Carl. John’s grandsons Phil, Eugene and Cyril Arnold were also licensed funeral directors. Today, F.E. Dingmann’s sons, Doug E., Art and Al, along with his grandchildren Dan, Doug R., Deb and Brian proudly carry on the family tradition of providing quality service and care to families throughout Minnesota.

In June of 2004 the Dingmann Family purchased the Stephan-Stein Funeral Home in Long Prairie from Robert & Mary Stein. The Steins had operated the funeral home in Long Prairie for 35 years with the assistance of their predecessor Myron Stephan who sadly passed away in 2001. The funeral home was renamed the Stein-Dingmann Funeral Home. Doug R., his wife Lisa and their twin daughters moved into the living quarters in Long Prairie and operate the funeral home with the assistance of Robert and Mary Stein and the rest of the staff at the Dingmann Family Funeral Home.
